During outdoor time, give each child a hula-hoop, and offer challenges that use positional words: “Step inside the hula- hoop. Hold the hula-hoop up in the air. Place the hoop on the floor. Place the hoop behind you and place the hoop beside a friend.” Ask a child to be the leader.
