Obtain a microphone or create one using a paper towel roll and a ball of aluminum foil. Using the magic microphone, give the children an opportunity to speak during large group about an issue that interests them such as what they did during center time. You can also have the children recall what they did the day or weekend before or speak about upcoming plans.
