During outdoor time, while playing with the parachute, begin with one lightweight ball in the center and ask the children to bounce it as many times as possible. Keep track of the bounces. Ask questions such as, “What do you have to do to keep the ball in play?” Add a second ball, and then a third and a fourth. Ask, “Is it harder with more balls? Why do you think that's true?”
