You will need enough fun "monster" bodies for each child, a number cube, and materials for different parts of the monster. For example, wiggly eyes, felt for a mouth, chenille stem pieces for spiky hair, craft sticks for horns, straw pieces for arms and fabric strips for legs. Have children create their monster by rolling the die. Use the following guide: roll a one: add one eye, roll a two: add one mouth, roll a three: add a strand of spiky hair, roll a four: add one horn, roll a five: add one leg and roll a six: add one arm. For added fun, use another die and have children count out that number of the body part they roll. Create silly monsters with 6 eyes, 4 legs, etc.
