Read a book such as Olivia Plans a Tea Party by Natalie Shaw. Ask the children what they will need to have a tea party of their own. Encourage the children to make a plan and gather materials such as cups, plates, snacks, party dresses and stuffed animals. Assist them in setting up the tea party and following through.
