During outdoor time, give the children binoculars made out of two toilet paper rolls taped together. Take them outside and ask the children to look around and talk about what they see. When they come inside give them a sheet of paper with two black circles drawn on it for them to draw what they saw on the playground. Add the words, “I saw ______” and invite them to write a word.
