You will need several small-wheeled vehicles as well as wooden table blocks and rocks from the science center. Using masking tape, make a road on the floor or carpet. Tell the children they are going to use the blocks or rocks for cars, and have the children push them along the road. Encourage the children to experiment. Then show them the toy cars. Ask, “Will it be easier to push these cars? Why?”
