Create a bingo game using clip art or other images of the children showing different facial expressions and emotions. During small group play the game with the children using different words to describe emotions such as happy, scared, sad, angry, silly, confused, surprised, cranky and tired. When finished, have the children trade cards and play again. You can have the children show you what the emotion looks like on their cards when you call out the word to ensure understanding. This can be done in small group.
