Create a tummy time mat using photos of infants displaying different feelings and add a child safe mirror to the center.   Encourage the infant to look at the photos and their reflection in the mirror.  Use descriptive language to describe each face.  Say, “Layla, you are smiling.  You look happy when you look in the mirror." Or "Look, there's Thomas, he looks calm."
