You will need pipe cleaners and an O-shaped cereal like Cheerios. Have the children make a loop at the end of a pipe cleaner and thread cereal on it until it is almost full. Secure the end so the cereal doesn't fall off . Encourage the children to find a place outside to hang their bird feeder and observe it daily. This can be done in small group.
