Instead of a baby doll in the sensory center table, give children either plastic or real fruit to wash. Add scrub brushes to use on the fruits and vegetables. Discuss how different families eat different fruits and vegetables based on where they live, but that everyone should wash them thoroughly before they eat them to be safe.
