Play some lively music, such as selections from Hap Palmer's CD Movin'. Show the children how to take "giant steps" as they move around the space. Demonstrate how to stretch your legs out as far as they will go. Then, show the children how to take tiny "baby steps" and walk on tip-toe. Before each section, call out "giant steps" using a giant voice or "baby steps" using a baby voice," and move along with the children.
