At the top of a piece of chart paper, draw a picture of Humpty Dumpty. Write the poem underneath. The children will help to build the brick wall that Humpty sits on. Have the children come up, one at a time, and use a red marker to draw a “brick” outline around each word, to help build the wall. This could be done in large group.
