Introduce a bowling game in a small group and ask if the children have ever played before. If there are some children who have never played, ask them to guess what they can do with the ball and pins and how they can play the game. Discuss what will happen if they hit the pins with the ball and then have the children experiment. Also, discuss with the children how they want to arrange the 10 pins to strike them more easily. Continue to bowl using a variety of pin arrangements.
