Give the children a list page from a pad or cut 81/2" x 11" paper into thirds crosswise, creating narrow strips of paper about 31/2" x 81/2." Provide catalogs from school supply houses and encourage the children to make a list of things they would buy for the classroom. This can be done in small group.
