Meet the Teacher

A few months before the children will transition to the next classroom, invite their new teacher to meet them. Ask the new teacher to read a book with the children such as Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman. Talk about how the little bird met lots of animals she didn't know while trying to find her mother. Sit with the children to make them feel comfortable.
