Using memory games in the math center is a great way to engage the children in problem-solving. Create matching cards with shapes or with numerals and sets. Draw a grid on poster board to help organize the cards. The children turn over two cards at a time. If the cards match, they keep the cards; if the cards don't match, they return both cards to their places, and the next person has a turn.
