These opportunities allow young dual language learners to build on what they know and can do in their first language as they continue to develop communication, language, and literacy skills in all their languages.
Put up posters of ballet dancersAround the dramatic play area. Use a broom handle balanced on two chairs to be a barre for the children to hold onto. Play classical music and encourage the children to imitate the different ballet positions they see in the pictures.
