Trace the outlines of several classroom items(a book, a spoon, a block, a marker, a hammer,a large button) onto poster board and cover the poster board with clear contact paper. Give each child an item, and encourage him/her to match it to its outline on the board. The child may have to turn the objects around to make them fit.
