During large group, read Personal Space Camp by Julia Cook. This book teaches the children about respecting people's personal space. After reading the book, discuss with the children specific scenarios that pertain to the Pre-K classroom, such as sitting on the carpet and staying in their squares. Have the children link their two hands together and make a circle in front of them so they can see “their personal space.”
