Have the children dictate answers to a questionnaire, such as a special book made for Mother's Day. Model as you write what the child says. Statements might include, “My mom is ___ years old,” “My mom is funny when she says ___,” or “My mom is prettiest when ___.” Afterwards, the children can draw pictures to accompany each sentence.
