Provide the children in the group with a colorful mitten or glove. You will also need a mitten or glove for yourself. Put it on and discuss with the children the importance of holding hands when crossing the street, in a parking lot or while walking in their neighborhood. Have the children put on their mitten or glove, hold hands with a peer and take a walk around the center or school. This can be done in small group.
