Show the children examples of road signs. Use the signs to facilitate a discussion about the need for traffic signs and road rules. Ask questions such as, “What do you do when you see this sign?” and “What happens if you don't follow that rule?” To extend the activity, engage the children in brainstorming possible playground rules.
