Read The Skeleton Inside You by Philip Balestrino. Have the children hold the palm of their hand over a bright flashlight. Encourage the children to dictate what they see. They should be able to see their finger bones and joints when light passes pass through their hand. Challenge the children to create what they think their hand and finger bones look like using play dough.This can be done in small group.
