Read The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig by Eugene Trivizas. Point out and discuss the simple machines used by the little wolves to build houses to ward off the big bad pig. Ask, “How did the kangaroo move the bricks?” Demonstrate the diff erence between pushing something and pulling it. This could be done in large group.
