Provide pre-cut tin foil pieces in various lengths, sizes and shapes. You will also need markers and masking tape. Have the children create 2-D or 3-D designs with the materials. Talk about the physical changes they are making with the foil and how they are changing the shape and arrangement. You can also offer hints and suggestions for helping them make their sculptures more complex. This can be done in small group.
