During closing group, sing the following song to the tune of “Mary Had A Little Lamb”:


What did you do at school today?


School today? School today?


What did you do at school today?


Turn and tell a friend.


The children turn to a partner on the rug and tell them one thing they did at school. You may want to make it more specific by changing the words to, “What did you do outside today?” or “What did you paint in art today?”


This could be done in large group.
