Line the children up with a partner. They can hold hands or hold onto a walking rope. Sing this variation of “The Ants Go Marching”:


The children are marching two by two,

hurray, hurrah.

The children are marching two by two,

hurray, hurrah.

The children are marching two by two,

There's me and you, and you, and you.

And we all are marching down the hall,

to the playground... (around the shelf, back to the rug, etc.)
