Create 3-D matching games based on characteristics such as color, size and shape. Begin by matching identical objects such as two triangle blocks and two square blocks. The children can match them based on attributes. You might provide a variety of blocks to match. The two red blocks go together, the two green blocks are a match, and so on. As the children match items, see if they can answer, "How are these the same?"
