Bring three or four puzzles that you previously mixed up, and present a problem to the children: “Oh no, look what has happened. These puzzles are all mixed up and the class is not going to be able to put them together again. How can we solve this problem?” Let the children give several responses before working on sorting the puzzles back into their appropriate boxes. This can be done in small group.
