During outdoor time, play “Ring Around the Rosie” with the parachute. Have the children chant along:

Ring around the rosie,

A pocketful of posies,

Ashes, ashes, we all fall down!

(Everyone squats down).
The cows are in the meadow,

Eating buttercups,

A tishoo, a tishoo, we all stand up!

(Everyone stands up).

You can have the children use loud and quiet voices for the different verses.
