Have the children find pictures with bright colors in magazines; for example, things that are yellow. Assist the children with tearing the pictures out and gluing them on paper. Bind the pictures into a book. Make the books available for the children to view and talk about the pictures with friends. Encourage conversations with descriptive words and observations. Say, “You found a picture of pretty flowers for the pink page.”
