Sing the following song with the children to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb":

Ready, set, count!


Begin to count slowly, and encourage the children to say the numbers with you, "1-2-3-4-5!" You can change the words to "Clap your hands and count with me," or "Stomp your feet and count with me."
