Assign jobs to the children to complete throughout the day. Think of humorous names for typical classroom jobs, such as mess preventer (napkin helper), power controller (turn out the lights) or drum major (line leader). Come up with an impartial rotation system to ensure each child gets an opportunity to be a helper.
