Have the children form a circle and give each child a paper shape such as a triangle, a square, a circle or a pentagon. Sing this song to the tune of “Mulberry Bush”: Do you have the triangle, the triangle, the triangle? If you have the triangle, please stand up. Repeat the verse, saying a diff erent shape each time. Continue until all the shapes have been named. Everyone can trade shapes and sing the verses again. This could be done in large group.
