Read The Enormous Potato by Aubrey Davis. Brainstorm other things that are enormous. Encourage children to think of other words that mean really large, such as gigantic or huge. Have Enormous Day and invite children to bring in items or pictures of items that are enormous, such as a large stuffed bunny or a photo of a bulldozer. This could be done in large group.
