Tune: "If You're Happy and You Know it"
Put your feet on the line, on the line. Put your feet on the line, on the line. Put your feet on the line. Do they look mighty fine? Put your feet on the line, on the line.
Put your fingers in the air, in the air Put your fingers in the air, in the air Put your fingers in the air, 'how's the weather way up there?' Put your fingers in the air, in the air.
Put your fingers in your lap, in your lap Put your fingers in your lap, in your lap Put your fingers in your lap and give a little clap Put your fingers in your lap, in your lap.
Put your fingers on your lips, on your lips Put your fingers on yoru lips, on your lips Put your fingers on your lips and give a little zip Put your fingers on your lips, on your lips.
Put your hands in the air, in the air; Put your hands in the air, in the air; Put your hands in the air, But please don't leave them there! Put your hands in the air, in the air
Sooo...put your hands in your lap, in your lap Put your hands in your lap, in your lap

Rise and Shine, let's clap our hands together (3x) We're so glad you're here
Rules can be helpful Rules can be good They help us behave The way we should We follow the rules And we don't do wrong The world's a happier place When we all get along
Hey! Hi! Howdy! Yo! There are many ways to say hello! Wave your hand. Nod your head. Smile real big or wink instead. Blow a kiss. Tip your hat. Shake your hands. Give a pat. Of all the ways to say hello, Here's the way I like to go... How do you like to say hello?
See you later alligator In a while crocadile We'll come back another day To see our friends and learn and play
Sing, sing, sing, sing, sing with me. Sing out loud. Sing out clear. To tell the children in the room, That center time is here (or near)
Six little ducks that I once knew (hold up six fingers) Fat ones, skinny ones, tall ones too (hold up one finger) But the first little duck with the feather on his back (wiggle one finger) He led the others with a quack, quack, quack Down to the river they did to Wibble wobble, wibble wobble, to and fro (with palms together, move hands back and forth) But the first little duck with the feather on his back He lead the others with a quack, quack, quack (open and close fingers to thumb)
Play some lively music and encourage children to move their bodies in interesting and fun ways. Use words such as sashay, plie´ or skedaddle. Teach the movement for each word. For example, sashay means to move to the side by extending one foot and then bringing the other foot up to touch it, then extending and sliding again – sort of like galloping sideways. Plie´ means to place both feet together, pointing outwards and then slowly bend your knees. Skedaddle means to move freely, however you choose. Call out the movements and ask the children to respond by changing their actions to match your words.
Tune: "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"
Stop, look and listen When you cross the street Use your eyes and use your ears Then just use your feet
It's time to watch and listen, We're going to read a book. We'll sit down on the rug and use our eyes to look. We'll look at all the pictures and hear the story, too. Oh, what fun it is to share This story time with you!
Tune: "I'm a Little Teapot"
